Pickup, Courier, and Local Delivery on ToneTrade
Every ToneTrade listing includes at least a national courier option with a fee in rand (or free shipping). Sellers can also offer pickup or local delivery within a radius — but checkout still runs through TradeSafe escrow. This is not a cash handover in a parking lot.
Courier (nationwide)
The seller picks one courier and delivery fee per listing. Buyers pay that fee at checkout together with the item price. ToneTrade does not operate its own fleet — the seller’s chosen courier handles transit. Full rules: Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Pickup and local delivery
If a seller enables pickup or local delivery, those options appear at checkout only when your address falls within their radius. Courier remains available nationwide. Meet-up areas belong in shipping settings — not street addresses in listing descriptions.
Why escrow still matters for local deals
Even when you collect in person or receive a local drop-off, payment goes through ToneTrade / TradeSafe first. The seller should not ask for direct EFT or cash to skip fees. Funds release after you confirm via TradeSafe or the inspection window ends — same protection as courier deals.
