Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: 30 August 2026

1. Courier-per-listing model

ToneTrade does not run its own courier fleet. Each product listing specifies one courier option and a delivery fee in ZAR (or free shipping). At checkout, buyers pay the delivery fee(s) applicable to the items ordered.

2. Seller responsibilities

  • Select a suitable courier for the size/value of the instrument.
  • Choose a processing time of 3–5 or 5–7 business days and meet it after payment is in escrow.
  • Pack to protect against transit damage; insure high-value shipments where available.
  • Upload or share tracking when the courier provides it.

3. Buyer responsibilities

  • Enter a complete, reachable South African delivery address.
  • Arrange to receive the parcel; failed deliveries may incur re-delivery costs per courier rules.
  • Inspect on arrival and report transit damage promptly with photos.

4. Risk & delays

Courier delays and loss are handled using tracking evidence, seller proof of dispatch, and — where needed — TradeSafe dispute lock on funds. ToneTrade is not the carrier and cannot guarantee transit times.
