Store Reviews on ToneTrade: How Buyer Ratings Work
ToneTrade store reviews are about the seller, not product comments on a listing. They help the next buyer see who they are dealing with — without turning the marketplace into a social feed.
Where reviews appear
Sellers with reviews show a small ★ average rating chip on shop cards, product pages, and the store header. Sellers with zero reviews show no chip — nothing fake, nothing padded.
When buyers can leave a review
After a completed order where TradeSafe escrow has released (and the order is not disputed or refunded), eligible buyers see a Leave a store review option in My Account and on the order. One review per order/seller — no duplicates.
Seller reply and moderation
Sellers can reply once per review from their dashboard. Either party can report a review that breaks the rules; ToneTrade moderators can unpublish, clear reports, or remove abuse. Avatars use initials placeholders until sellers upload profile photos.
Buying safely still starts with escrow: Buyer Protection & Escrow.
